On-Call Ministry
A ministry within a ministry.
An "On-Call" Ministry is a partnership with a church body who have a passion
and desire to minister to those called by God to lead His people. As God has
stirred in the hearts of individuals who own vacation homes, they have agreed
to allow Promised Land Retreat use of their homes for ministry leaders. As
homeowners partner with us, we then partner with mission minded churches
located in the area of the property to minister to those leaders and their
families who stay there.

So just how do churches minister through an "On-Call Ministry"?
Through prayer and service.

Prayer:
It is of utmost importance for those staying to be covered in prayer. The host
church body will begin praying before their arrival and during their stay.

Service:
To include but not limited to-
* Writing cards/letters of encouragement to be placed in the
home prior to their arrival.
* Preparing residence for arrival.
*Being available to meet and welcome those staying at property.
* Issuing house key.
*Be willing to be "on-call" should a need arise.
*Returning to property on final day of stay to collect key, clean,
and secure residence.
